Terms & Conditions

Please take a moment to read the following terms and conditions carefully.

By using our website or placing an order with us, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions in full. If you do not accept these terms and conditions you will not be able to order with us. We will occasionally update or revise these terms and conditions. Please check back here for any changes and/or amends.

1. Understanding these terms & conditions

1.1. When we refer to “Rio’s”, “we”, “us”, or “our”, we mean Rio’s BBQ & Rodizio Ltd.
1.2. When we refer to “you” or “your” we mean you, the individual accessing and/or using our website or placing an order with us.
1.3. “Website” means this website, riosbbq.im
1.4. “Products”, “Goods” means the goods available for purchase on our website.
1.5. “Order” means the products you have purchased on our website and scheduled for collection.

2. About us

2.1. Rio’s BBQ & Rodizio are a company registered in the Isle Of Man with company number 123.

2.2. You can get in touch with us by using the details in the footer of our website.

3. Products

3.1. We regularly review the prices of our products and may change them without notice.

3.2. We take care to ensure product descriptions, pictures, prices and information are accurate. However, we do not accept liability for any inaccuracies, errors or omissions.

3.3. All products are subject to availability.

3.4. Our products are priced by unit. We show the weight price for guidance only. Due to the nature of our products the minimum and maximum weight cannot always be guaranteed. As such, products may not always meet the exact criteria stated on our website. We will not accept liability for underweight or overweight products. The published price is the unit price. We will, however, always endeavour to meet weight expectations and the minimum weight.

3.5. All product prices are inclusive of any applicable VAT.

3.6. Allergens: Whilst every precaution is taken to minimise cross-contamination in the production of our food we cannot guarantee those trace elements of allergens don’t exist. Our food production areas and our suppliers also handle products containing ALL 14 allergens: MILK, NUTS, EGGS, NUTS, PEANUTS, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, MOLLUSCS, CEREALS, SOYA, SULPHITES, CELERY, LUPINS, MUSTARD.

Any allergens that make up part of the ingredients of our products are stated on the product label. If you have specific dietary requirements and/or are unsure about the suitability of any of our products then please contact a member of our team for further information.

4. Your Account

4.1. To place an order with us, you must be 18 years of age and register for a Rio’s Shop account. This is referred to as “Create Account” on the website.

4.2. You will be asked to use an email address and create a unique password to set up an account.

4.3. You must ensure the details you provide us with are complete and accurate, including your address and instructions as explained in section 8.6

4.4. You must inform us of any changes to your details, either by updating your details via your account on our website or by contacting our customer service team. You must notify us of these changes before your order deadline if they relate to a specific order, as explained in section 7.3.

4.5. You are responsible for all activity on your account and any orders that are placed, modified, or cancelled under your password. You must ensure the email address and password you use to log into your Rio’s Shop account are known only to you, and that access to your computer is restricted to prevent any unauthorised use of your account. If you suspect that someone else has access or knows your password, you should contact us immediately and change the password via your account on our website.

4.6. We reserve the right to suspend or close your account with us at our discretion.

4.7. The personal details you give us when setting up an account are governed by our Privacy Policy. Please make sure you read the Privacy Policy.

5. Purchasing products on our website

5.1. You may purchase products from us by using the ordering facility on our website any time after you have created an account.

5.2. To purchase products from us you must add each product to your shopping basket on the website.

5.3. You may add, change, or remove any product from your shopping basket before confirming your order. You may also change product quantities before confirming your order.

5.6. No order is accepted until our website displays an order confirmation message. You will receive an order confirmation email from us upon acceptance, which will list all the products you have ordered, prices, and delivery details. A contract for our sale of products to you arises on our acceptance of your order. If there are any errors in the order confirmation, please contact us via the link on our website as soon as possible.

6. Payments

6.1. You must ensure you provide us with details of a valid credit or debit card. You may make changes to your payment details by updating them via your account on this website or by contacting our customer service team. Please do not send payment card details via e-mail.

6.2. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel your order, or deliveries to you, if we are refused authority from your card issuer for payment or if a payment has been rejected by your bank. You must contact us to arrange payment and wait for that payment to go through before you can place another order.

7. Orders

7.1. If you add extra items to, or remove items from, your order we will charge you according to the increased or decreased difference.

7.2. After the order deadline has passed, your order will be processed in our system.

7.3. As we are selling perishable goods, we regret that we cannot cancel your order and we cannot refund the payment after your order deadline has passed.

7.4. We accept orders at our discretion and we have the right to refuse orders without explanation.

7.5. After your order deadlines have passed and your order has been processed, it is scheduled for delivery in our system.

8. Deliveries

8.1. You are responsible for making suitable arrangements to collect your order from Rio’s Restaurant, 28-29 Loch Promenade, Douglas, IM1 2LY.

8.2. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer delivery.

9. Complaints, returns & refunds

9.1.Due to theperishable nature of our products, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges. If something isn’t right, please address this at the point of collecting the goods. We are always here to help, we want all our customers to love the products. Please feel free to contact us at info@riosbbq.im

9.2.Please note Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and valid from 1 year of the date of purchase.

9.3. If you wish to make a complaint, please email our customer service team at info@riosbbq.im. We will do our very best to respond to your complaint as quickly as possible.

10. Website usage

10.1. As all information provided on our website is free of charge, you acknowledge that it would be unreasonable to hold us liable for the website and the information contained on it.

10.2. The content of the pages on this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.

10.3. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, expressed or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the website or the information, products, services, or related graphics contained on the website for any purpose. Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk.

10.4. Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure any content or information available on this website meets your specific requirements.

10.5. In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this website.

10.6. This website contains links to other third-party websites, which are not under the control of Rio’s BBQ & Rodizio Ltd. We have no control over the nature, content and availability of those sites. The inclusion of any links does not necessarily imply a recommendation or endorse the views expressed within them.

10.7. Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, we take no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.

10.8. This website contains material that is owned or licensed by us. This material includes, but is not limited to the design, look, appearance and graphics, images. Reproduction is prohibited.
